MiniBrowser

MiniBrowser is a tool that you can use to quickly access a website.

The difference between this web browser and others is the fact that its toolbar is separate from the main window. When you maximize the window, it is similar to switching to full screen mode.

In the toolbar, you can input the URL, go to the previous or next page, cancel page loading, refresh the page and go to the home address.

If you open the context menu in the URL area, you can use the undo, cut, copy, paste and "select all" functions, as well as change the reading order from right to left, display and insert Unicode control characters and open the IME.

Unfortunately, you cannot use the universal keyboard shortcuts for undo, cut, copy, paste and "select all", neither the "Enter" key for loading a page. This can be very inconvenient for most users who prefer hotkeys.

MiniBrowser is not multi-tabbed. If you open a webpage in a new window, it will be in Internet Explorer. Plus, if you want to add a webpage to the favorites list, you can access it only from Internet Explorer.

The program uses a moderate amount of system resources and popped up some ActionScript errors during our tests. It doesn't immediately load a webpage - the process can take several long seconds.

We can clearly see that MiniBrowser aimed to become a straightforward web browser for practical users. But we don't think it has fulfilled that goal. We suggest you test it for yourself.
