NTFS Access is a small-sized and portable software utility that you can use to gain full access to a local or network directory.
It includes intuitive options that can be quickly figured out, even by users with limited or no previous experience in software utilities.
Since installation is not a prerequisite, you can drop the executable file in a custom location on the hard disk and just click it to run the app.
It is also possible to save NTFS Access to a USB flash disk or similar storage unit, in order to run it on any machine effortlessly and without previously installing anything.
An important aspect to take into account is that the Windows registry does not get updated with new entries, and no extra files are created on the HDD, leaving it clean after removal.
The interface is represented by a regular window with a plain and simple structure, where you can point out the folder you want to access by using the file browser only, since the drag-and-drop feature is not supported. It is possible to enable full access rights as well as to take ownership. Modifications are committed with the click of a button.
NTFS Access has minimal impact on computer resources, since it uses very low CPU and RAM. It has a good response time and works well, without causing the operating system to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs.
We have not come across any kind of issues throughout our evaluation. NTFS Access serves its purpose and, thanks to its overall simplicity, it can be used by anyone.
