Ogni Free Folder Locker & Hider

The moment you share a computer with multiple users, the privacy of your files and folders becomes questionable. Ogni Free Folder Locker & Hider provides a simple security solution, by allowing you to lock and hide folders.

Once you initiate the program with the plain and simple user-interface, you have to assign a username and password to it.

Now you can select the preferred protection level - normal (for novices) and maximum (for experienced users).

All you have to do is select a drive and locate your folders by using an Explorer-based layout. The security attributes include "Lock", "Hide" or "Lock + Hide" (the latter option is recommended for maximum protection).

Simply click a preferred security option and you're all set. Undoing the changes can be done in a similar way (“Unlock”, “Unhide”). You can change the username, password and protection level, as well as use keyboard shortcuts.

The program takes up a very low amount of system CPU and memory, comes with a comprehensive help file and didn't cause us any problems during our tests.

Besides the interface that could use some improvements since it doesn't offer any kind of visual impact, as well as the fact that the tool doesn't integrate in the Explorer context menu, we strongly recommend Ogni Free Folder Locker & Hider to all XP users.
