Portable WIA-Loader

WIA-Loader is an application designed to facilitate the file transfer from a specific device straight to the dedicated folder on your PC. It is particularly useful for copying photos from the digital camera to an existing directory, which can help organizing your newest pictures.

Portable WIA-Loader allows you to import large amounts of images or multimedia files from your digital camera and save them to your computer. The application operates based on pre-existing profiles, which include a series of actions, such as import, save, rotate, convert, set keywords.

By selecting the selecting the steps, you can automate the picture management and create the course of actions which suits your preferences.

For example, you can save the images to the default folder or send them straight to an FTP location. In case you shoot raw images, you can use the integrated editor to automatically change the white balance, highlight mode or choose the interpolation method.

Portable WIA-Loader allows you to create and edit the profiles by adding, deleting or modifying the required steps. The supported options also include changing EXIF data, geocoding, creating HTML galleries and running custom scripts.

Once the profile is set, you can select and run it from the program’s main window. You can preview the result of the actions, namely the pictures that were copied, their thumbnails and EXIF information. You can make advanced file selections, using the functions from the context menu.

Portable WIA-Loader is simple to use and can be a suitable tool for people who work with large batches of media files. The program is flexible since allows you to run custom scripts. Moreover, it can be run from any local folder or removable device. Make sure you run the program with administrator privileges so that you can access all the functions.
