RecoverMyPhotos is a software that helps you retrieve files which have been deleted from your hard drive.

Once you initiate the application with the user-friendly interface, you can use the startup wizard to select the drive you want to browse for files and choose one of the file recovery options (search for deleted files, or look for deleted files, then for selected "Lost File" types).

After the scanning process completes, you can check out the "Folder" tab to look for files in "Lost and Found" or "Root". The "File Type" area allows you to view files in 3GP, ASF, WMV, WMA, AVI, BMP, GIF, MP3 and other supported formats.

You can view lost or deleted files which are organized according to date (year, month, day). Also, you can find a file by its name, date of modification, size and state.

In the list you can check out the name, dimension, type and path, as well as date of creation, modification and last access, for each file. Beneath this area there is a small window in which you can preview files (images only).

You can view an event log file, export the list to a CSV file, save files on the hard drive or burn them to disc, save and load a search, as well as configure program options (e.g. disable wizard and tips on startup, set all lost files to a fixed size, prompt for the start sector, run a lost file search only).

The program can take a long while to complete a scanning task (according to the size of your hard drive) and uses a high amount of system resources. Unfortunately, the preview mode doesn't properly work for all image files and the demo version doesn't let you save data.

Otherwise, RecoverMyPhotos comes with a well-drawn help file (with snapshots) and is extremely easy to use even by novices. We suggest you test this software for yourself.
