Tipard Video Converter is an application designed to help you encode video files to other formats, such as MP4, AVI, FLV, MPG and WMV. It can be easily used by both beginners and experienced individuals.

The interface of the program is clean and intuitive. Media files can be imported into the list by using either the file browser, treeview or "drag and drop" method. Batch processing is allowed.

In the queue you can check out the name, original and trimmed length, output profile and output name of each file. After you establish the destination folder and output file type, you can proceed with the conversion.

But you can also modify audio and video preferences when it comes to the encoder, resolution, bit rate, frame rate, aspect ratio, channel mode, sample frequency rate and others. Settings can be saved into a new profile.

On top of that, you can preview clips in a built-in media player and take snapshots, select the audio and subtitle track, view file properties, trim clips by marking their start and end time, make image adjustments (e.g. brightness, saturation, volume), add watermarks (text or image), merge clips, set post-task action (e.g. exit program), change the interface skin, customize the CPU core number in processing, and more.

The media conversion tool requires a moderate amount of system resources, has a good response time, quickly finishes a task and manages to keep a very good image and sound quality.
