iPod-Cloner

iPod-Cloner is a software designed to help you easily convert DVDs to the format supported by iPod devices, namely MP4. It can be easily used by individuals of all levels.

The interface of the program is plain and simple to work with. You can import a DVD by selecting its source from the dropdown list (the "drag and drop" method is not supported). Batch processing is not allowed.

All you have to do is specify the output destination and filename, in order to proceed with the encoding job.

But you can also configure audio and video settings when it comes to the codec, size, frames per second, channel mode, sample frequency rate, bit rate and aspect ratio.

You can preview the DVD in a built-in media player, split the DVD by chapters, change the interface language, and others. Settings can be restored to their default values at any time.

The video conversion software needs a moderate quantity of system resources, has a good response time, takes a reasonable amount of time to complete a task and manages to keep a good image and sound quality in the output videos.

No errors have occurred during our tests and iPod-Cloner did not freeze or crash. There's also a well-drawn help file that you can look into. Unfortunately, you cannot change program settings (e.g. enable iPod-Cloner to automatically turn off the computer after conversion). Otherwise, we strongly recommend this tool to all users.
