When opening files in the right side you will be able to see the hex file. When right clicked you have options like activate, close and save. 

If you want to start a new project you can either open an old one, import hex, export hex, print preview and others. 

If you want to search a specific file the search menu offers a variety of search criteria fit for every user. 

View submenu offers a large variety of features. You can edit fonts, character set, division lines and many more. 

From here you can create a new script, open an old one, randomize, split, join and edit the script list. 

In the tools submenu you will find some useful features like a calculator, file comparer, converter, hex operations and other. 

You are able to duplicate window, split window, browse windows forward and backward and many other features.
