The welcome screen of Adobe Flash CS3 Professional gives you the possibility to create a new Flash file or to create from template. 

Adobe Flash CS3 Professional's main window is divided into various panels that make your work easier, keeping all the tools you need in front of you. 

You can use the Insert menu to add symbols to your Flash file or to insert timeline effects and scenes. 

The Modify menu provides you with a large variety of objects that you can modify by applying different effects. 

The Text menu in Adobe Flash CS3 Professional's main window lets you customize the format of your text, including its font, size, style and alignment. 

The Commands menu allows you to manage the saved commands, get more commands, copy motion as XML or export/import motion XML. 

From the Control menu you can play or rewind your Flash movie, you can test the movie or a scene, loop playback or play all scenes. 

The Debug menu allows you to debug the movie and provides you with the usual debugging features: Step In, Step Over, Breakpoints. 

The General Preferences tab enables you to customize the application's behavior and appearance according to your needs and taste. 

In the ActionScript Preferences tab you can adjust some options about the script editing process, the font, the syntax color and the language. 

The Auto Format tab in Adobe Flash CS3 Professional's Preferences window lets you enable several settings related to the auto formatting. 

The Clipboard Preferences tab allows you to modify the color depth, resolution and size limit for bitmaps and the gradient quality. 

In the Drawing Preferences tab you can customize various options about the drawing feature: Pen tool, Connect lines, Recognize lines, etc. 

The Text Preferences tab allows you to change the font mapping default, customize the vertical text and the input method. 

In the Warnings Preferences tab you can choose at which times you want the application to show warnings. 

The PSD File Importer tab in Adobe Flash CS3 Professional's Preferences window lets you select the default settings for the Photoshop document importer. 

In the AI File Importer Preferences tab you can choose the preferred options for the Illustrator document importer.
