The Effects tab in the Global Settings window allows to choose the Visual Effect and the speed of it. 

The Desklet Properties provides the posibility to change the settings in the tabs: Appearance, Label, Icon, Advanced, Shortcut, etc. 

The Advanced tab in the Desklet Properties configures the quality, color and shadow of the icon. 

The Shortcut tab in the Desklet Properties allows to set the path, parameters and the directory where that application will start.
