This is where you can start to check your hard disk for errors and see information about the hard disk like serial number, file system and free space. 

From here you can use the application's file-access scan to search for errors or bad sectors on your hard drive. 

The S..M.A.R.T. tab will provide information about your hard drive like it's capacity, number of sectors, etc.
