The EF Duplicate Files Manager has an intuitive interface and of course a input field for folder which can be scanned. 

In this window you can configure the general options and program behaviour. 

Users can customize general search options here and also exclude some folders from scanning. 

Sometimes it is desired to limit the search results, for example around only such files which are older than a certain date or a given size, you can use the Filter function.
