The Local Info utility examines the local host and displays information about the local computer such as the processor, memory, Winsock data, network interfaces, IP statistics, modems, route table, etc.
The Port Scanner utility is used to scan hosts over a range or list of ports using the TCP protocol, in order to see what services are available on the target systems.
The Ping utility verifies connections to the remote computer(s) by sending ICMP (Internet Control Message Protocol) echo packets to the computer and listening for echo reply packets.
IP-Tools has a built-in list of WhoIs servers for all top level domains. You may create a custom list of your own, and its items will have priority over the built-in list servers.
