Media Center Studio

Media Center Studio is a simple-to-use application that enables users to customize Windows Media Center. It can be handled even by all types of users, regardless of their level of experience.

The interface is clean and intuitive, as Media Center Studio supports multiple tabs. It is possible to create as many themes as you want (custom or preset), hide default items in Windows Media Center, as well as to edit the name, author and comments in the biography section.

You may customize colors and adjust the channels (red, green, blue, alpha), modify fonts (e.g. button text, background title text, dialog title and content), as well as apply various images. The Start menu can be tweaked as well through similar options.

You can import and export themes, insert additional images and audio files, restore settings to default values, and customize the quick access toolbar.

Media Center Studio uses moderate RAM and low CPU. Its response time is not very good and the program crashed several times out of the blue in our tests, so it does not excel in the stability department. Nevertheless, the software application provides users with the necessary tools for customizing Windows Media Center on the fly.
