Security software tools have thousands of hours of coding and research behind them, all carried out by extended teams of experts. The RegRun User Assistant is what you see as you start RegRun Reanimator. This application features a tab-based GUI that makes malware monitoring and removal a matter of clicking a button. No joke, you just have to press the “Fix problems” button to check out all the steps needed to fix a potential malware infection.

There are four steps required. The first scans for any unwanted applications and fixes issues related to browser redirections. The anti-malware database is downloaded and the scan is initiated.

The virus scan tool prompts you for action as a problem is detected. For example, when a potentially unwanted program is spotted, you are required to take action immediately and either remove it or mark it as a false positive.

RegRun Reanimator also analyzes startup programs and search settings, which is quite useful in case a malicious app changed the default browser settings. Browseer plugins deployed without your consent are also detected and running services are scanned to find suspicious activity.

The report that RegRun Reanimator generates can be sent to the support center of the application. In other words, you are offered the opportunity to ask for assistance from a specialist who has the skills to identify and remove malware from your PC.

A valuable tool in RegRun Reanimator allows you to repair damage generated by a virus attack. This way, you can, for instance, unlock the Windows Task Manager or the Registry Editor. Please note that a reboot is required to restore the original OS settings.

RegRun Reanimator is not a full-featured antivirus, but it provides the tools needed to remove malicious content or recover after your PC became infected.   While scanning the system does not take too long, the cleanup process requires more attention and intervention on your part.
