BySoft StayAlive Pro is an easy-to-use software application that mimics an active Internet connection to prevent your system from getting disconnected from the ISP.

It comes packed with standard and advanced configuration properties that can be adjusted by novices and more experienced users alike.

The interface of the application is user-friendly, based on a regular window with a clean and intuitive layout, showing details on the current connection configuration such as speed, online time, download and upload rate.

As far as settings are concerned, you can modify the default websites, choose the access type between HTTP and Ping along with the access order between random and sequential, as well as specify the time interval (random or fixed).

You can use proxies, set a time and date for stopping online activity and disconnecting, ask the app to start in the system tray without showing the main window, initiate only page downloading when using HTTP access, enable nag windows and edit properties, and so on.

The straightforward piece of software does not put a strain on computer performance, since it runs on a minimal amount of CPU and RAM. We have not come across any issues throughout our evaluation, since the app did not hang, crash or pop up error messages.

Since it can be minimized to the system tray area, it does not interrupt normal user activity either. BySoft StayAlive Pro gets the job done, and it should please all types of users. Too bad it has not been updated for a long while.
