At login, the software asks for the user's email address so as to be able to send him/her information on future updates. 

The application's main window has a few basic and intuitive commands such as Anonymity, Comfort and Security or Test Anonymity. 

The application also has a Trace Destructor feature that will allow the user to destruct unwanted traces. 

The Steganos File Shredder Application could prove useful when the user is keen on destroying unwanted files. 

The General Setting screen comes with options such as Show hidden messages again, Language settings or Start options. 

The user has the possibility to select different levels of anonymity when surfing the web and he/she can also select the option Automatic change proxy identities. 

In the Exception List tab, the user has the possibility to select web pages that where features of Steganos Internet Anonym will not be employed. 

The trace destruction tab provides options such as Hide traces of non-installed applications or Automatically destroy traces after the browser has been exited. 

The data destruction feature can be set as a compromise between time consumption and level of destruction.
