TpX has an intelligent interface that allows you to create the drawings for inclusion into TeX files. It can also be used as a standalone editor for vector graphics. 

In the TpX settings you may view and configure the default value for some formats 

In the TpX main window you may create a drawing in which you may insert many elements such as bezier path, line, rectangle, symbol, etc
