Video Converter Factory Pro

Video Converter Factory Pro is an application which enables you to encode media files between multiple formats, such as FLV, MP4, AVI, WMV, MP3 and MOV.

The interface of the program is clean and pretty intuitive. Videos can be imported into the queue by using the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is unsupported. Batch processing is allowed.

In the list you can check out the name, duration, size, output profile, estimated size and status of each file.

After you set the output directory and profile, you can proceed with the conversion task. During this time you can check out the progress on the current and all files, elapsed and remaining time, as well as the name of the current clip.

You can modify audio and video preferences when it comes to the resolution, bit rate, encoder, frame rate, aspect ratio, norm, channels, sampling rate, volume and others. Settings can be restored to their default values at any time.

You can merge, crop and split clips, apply various effects (e.g. emboss, brightness, contrast, blur, sharpen, old film, noise), set post-task actions (e.g. exit program, restart computer), view file properties, create a new output profile, set the thread priority, enable Video Converter Factory Pro to play a sound when it finishes a task, and more.

The video conversion program runs on a moderate-to-high amount of system resources, includes a well-drawn help file with snapshots and didn't crash or pop up errors during our tests. The image and sound quality is kept at a good level.

It froze once during our tests, after clicking the "Crop" button (we were forced to restart the application). But, other than that, Video Converter Factory Pro is a very good program and we strongly recommend it to all users.
