Oh dear, I just made the big mistake of clicking the "update skype" link. this version, 4.1.0.179 is TERRIBLE!! functionality might be decent - haven't had it long enough to check that, but the interface is absolutely AWFUL! WHAT were they thinking??
if something is good, why change it?? Don't like the set up; have to click a lot more now to call someone, and I don't like that if I'm "invisible", the tray icon is the same as "offline" - then I'm not sure whether I might have accidentally signed off.

Best firewall on the market.Very easy to use,highly configurable.

Great! Only problem is that it only shows game times in the Eastern time zone, but converting is easy so its not a big deal

Excellent little program. Worked perfectly and quickly.

It took 3 or 4 calls to tech support, who finally told me that the A836 was not supported, even though the documentation shows it as an example.
I finally figured it out myself.
Biggest complaints, doesn't allow export of data to csv or similar.
If you compose a text message, you can't access the address book, and you can't access the address book on the phone while pcstudio is running.
Compared to the software I got from MobileAction.com for my previous Nokia phone, this is terrible.

Grand ideas, but no realization of them. When is the computer industry going to learn: Circumventing qualified, intelligent Software Engineers is never going to work. Especially if you're just cobbling something together on top of the Eclipse Framework.

I've used this program for years and it was very nice 4 years ago. The things that it is able to do it does well, tagging, tagging from file names, renaming from tags. For the most part it is easy to figure out and make do what you want.

What I have noticed is that it has not kept up over the years. Where MP3 Tag Studio is fine at operating at files in a single folder it doesn't really support tagging files that live in multiple folders. Basically a design limitation because it can only act on the current folder.

It doesn't do any images or support lyrics in a meaningful way.

At it's price point there are newer applications that are out there that do a fine job tagging and support, muliti folder operations, downloading cover art and lyrics etc.

There are also some nice products out there that compare very well that are free.

I tried BKAV and cannot browse web with Firefox. I remove BKAV, it is OK.

But BKAV rejected it. They said that: Our program is number one, cannnot have any bugs. That is Firefox bug.

Excellent converter, surprisingly able. Tons of settings. One of the best freeware conversion tools out there. no doubt.

I purchased Driver Detective because it kept prompting me saying that my system needed updating so I thought I would download it. It said FREE DOWNLOAD. However, when I downloaded it, it charged me US$39.99. New Zealand pay three times what the US dollar is worth. I have not recieved the bank statement for this yet so I dont know whether they charged me NZ $60 or $90 for the Driver Detective. I am absolutely devastated because I am a student with hardship and now I am out of pocket even further. What is the world coming to. The Driver Detective did not do any thing what so ever, it just sat there and calmly set itself up in my computer systems and I had to find them and delete them all. I hope i got them! Really, really fed up to the teeth.

Sadly it comes with Google updater that cannot be disabled. It's unclear what it actually does beside scanning our system and forwarding user's surfing habits to Google. We get tailored ads and what else?

Older versions worked without updater. This one doesn't. Too bad.

Basically anywhere on the Basterdphone, but on the missing rotary dial.

It's a completely useless and total unneccesary widget but so hilarious.....


I've hooked up my USB Panic Button to this and guess....

I can turn it on on my laptop, but have to restart to turn it off - which makes it useless. I think I'll uninstall it if I can't work out how to turn off easily.

Little bugs, but good software.

Undoubtedly the fastest browser out there. The only drawbacks being -
1) Lack of support for extensions like in various gecko based browsers (Flock, Wyzo, Firefox, Cometbird etc.)
2) Memory hogging with all the different processes, they also have this priority issue where the process priority changes to its default even when you've set it at idle (for instance) which shouldn't be the case (processes shouldn't change their priority on their own since the person tinkering with them knows his stuff).
Besides the above mentioned ones I can't really figure out any other "cons" for chrome.

Great utility. The program is light and uses little RAM itself. Most other programs like this allocate large amounts of memory, which causes things to get knocked to the paging file and empty the file cache, which can actually slow down your computer. RAMPro doesn't do that.

I have used Spamfighter for quite a while and have been thoroughly satisfied with it. In fact I have recommended it to several people.

To my surprise I received a message today telling me I have been uninstalled. I don't know how this happened. I do know I would never have knowingly uninstalled it.

Would you please get me back on.

The freeware version is limited to a 50MB virtual drive. It's just a tease to buy a commercial product, but if you have two documents that just have to be protected; this is it.

The menu bar is missing, how do you configure any options? It's not very useful when there is no way to open, save, or perform any useful actions

as others have stated, it needs to be updated. Still...you get what you (didn\'t) pay for...an excellent firewall for Vista x64.

If MS sold hammers, this is Hammer2007 with ribbon ;) Word is a tool not a philosophy. Users need routine work to be done, and MS Experts tell them change is good, yea...for MS & Word consultants. The rest of us don't have time to get excited about untangling beautiful ribbons MS put around basic 2003 stuff.
