honesy, Comodo's Free Firewall is better than Zone Alarm's one, and CFP uses less resources than Zone Alarm, I was a Zone Alarm Customer, but switched to Comodo after my subscription expired, and my Computer is slightly faster

This is a very nice AV for a beta version...The scans are somewhat so but expected while they fix things...It has a pretty good detection rate but should be improved further...AntiVir free version is what I use atm and is awesome, I think they will be somewhere around a very nice free AV once they release an actual version n then tweak it

Unfortunately this product is not up to the standards of Comodo's peerless firewall, which of course can be forgiven considering that it's still in its Beta phase.

I adore the GUI and other aspects of the interface; however it simply did not deduct a selection of malware I downloaded to test my security software. The HIPS (which is made redundant by Comodo firewall) cannot be turned off during install, which means it can cause problems after the reboot before it can be deactivated.

No doubt version 3 (first Alpha) will be an outstanding product which blows its rivals out of the water, but until then I'll be sticking with Avast!

Excellent GUI, excellent options.

Unfortunately, it has a very slow and quirky scanning engine.It took FOREVER to scan my very fast Raptor 74gb HDD on a blazing fast 3.2ghz Core2 Duo machine! When it hits a corrupted file, it stalls, and you must start over. GRRRR! If you have below average hardware, expect to have a few cups of coffee while waiting for the initial scan to finish. The program folder size is absolutely huge, which is unfortunately becoming a trademark of Comodo.

HIPS will drive you nuts until it gets to know your apps, which is not surprising. I mean, you have to tell it that MAXTHON is safe, for goshsakes. Fortunately, HIPS can be deactivated if you wish, with some sacrifice in security. A GLARING weakness is the absence of an easy option to ignore false hits (or hits that are not false, but you know are harmless). In other words, it needs a whitelist that is easy to access. For example, I get a hit on a password revealer that I use occasionally in case I forget a password on a web page. I want to tell it to ignore that file, but must jump through hoops to do so. Also, the existing popup to "allow" an unknown file does not work. I guess I have "Permanently Allowed" the Maxthon2 and Ashampoo Firewall a hundred times!

I hope the above issues are remedied in later betas, because I really like the GUI and tray applet. Overall, the program shows great promise.

dont listen to that tatas44, he goes to every site to dis this product. there is no virus. i love everything layed out, my only problem is the virus list is in the learning process. it means the potential is there for a top notch antivirus solution but its not there yet. its only in beta and its free for life so it does warrent a 4. i think when the final release comes out, it will be as good or better than all the free products out there if not better than a lot of the pay ones.

I had this program for 2 hours and it didnt install right and i couldnt use any of the features so i don't know about that part?, i know the free firewall is ok but zonealarm ofter a better free one.

Comodo AntiVirus is an anti virus product that Comodo Group that developed an excellent security　product developed.

However, this product cannot be unstable operation, and spurn the feeling called development on the way unlike other security products.
Moreover, it cannot be said that it doesn't correspond to an old virus so much, and the detection rate is also high.
(The detection rate was lower than ClamAV according to a certain site. )
