Works unnoticeably with very few false positives.
Barely in need of one or two polishing revisions yet.

very good in detecting virus and very good in spy ware detection and removal

Switched from Norton 2007, and my laptop in now working a lot quicker again, AVG automatically downloads up-dates and quickly.

The protection for the programm is good indeed, i've got a license for 3 Computers, i've had no software conflicts either except for the fact that for a short period of time, Command&Conquer Generals was partially recognised as a virus..
But, that flaw was quickly removed form the virus definitions..

Thye GUI needs an upgrade indeed, but on the plus side of this GUI is that you can actually add, or remove some of the quick links/features in the Scan/test-GUI & and the Programm-overview..

as for the compatibibilty for the e-mail scanner, i'v e got no experience excpet with outlook, express and livemail, but it worked fine..

The performance of the scanner/package as a whole is indeed impressive, as you can modify the testing of the virusscanner to your computers needs/specs.
At this point there is even a manual @grisoft online that guides people trough usefull settings with weak(er)/old computers..

I've been so anxious about the next version (8.0), that I could get an Powerpoint presentation with a summarisation of the new and better features.. :D Since some family members needed new security programm's for their systems, and I wanted to know whta features would be included!

The pricing is the best for overall protection. It's 69.95 for 2 years and thereafter 50% off for another 2 years. Most products don't have 50% off for renewals and some don't even have renewals. For example if you do some calculations for 2-3 years period, antivir is not cheap.

So far, I haven't had any software conflicts and this is considered a very good plus point. I like how it handles the email scanning. Some other "Suite/AV" only allow OUTLOOK and refuses to add support for other clients.

The Firewall in this suite is rather impressive. It can be for everyone as it is rather easy to setup. It passes the stealth test too.

Performance is comparable to KIS, I think. On my 512ram and celeron 2.26ghz, bootup speed doesn't slowdown and during normal operations, there are no impacts. Only problem is scanning speed. took me 59min to scan 2.43gb. That's on a complete system scan. You can select to scan some extensions. Maybe that will be faster.

GUI aspect needs much improvement. Not glossy/shiny kind of interface but more organised interface. For example, the green tick is too big or the words seems pixelated. Make the interface more professional. :)

This is great value for very good overall protection(Not Yet Excellent). Was disappointed many years ago but totally impressed now.
