| GUI: Features: Ease of use: Value: | | It is really very good!
It is smallar and powerful.
But I changed new computer,It is a very good PC,so I decide to use Maxthon.
Because Maxthon has very very more users , so that I god many skins , and many plugins , and many AD filters , and many surpport on its site , and many friends on its BBS.
Greenbrowser is enough powerful and userful , and it is fast.
I used to use it ... If you PC very not good, advice use it. more or less, \\\"The World\\\" also is a very good Choice!,too!

| GUI: Features: Ease of use: Value: | | I loved this browser - it was all I wanted and needed.
I no longer use GreenBrowser, because i could not stop it from being the DEFAULT BROWSER. It puts something in the Registry, which tells the OS that Greenbrowser will always open when a browser is called for.
It does not matter about the setting in OPTIONS/SETTINGS - it still was the DEFAULT BROWSER and never missed opening!
I want my prigrams to open and close when I want them to - not when a program decides to think for me.
I would go back to using it - but rather than mess up my whole machine and have to do another Destructive Install, I simply deleted the entire program and then cleaned up the crumbs with CCleaner and some other cleaners.I am not a Geek, nor an IT person, in fact I am so old they did not even know about computers when I went through my schooling. The only computers that were around then were for NASA, Govt, Et cetera. No PC's back then...
Maybe, if I had known how to do this, or had someone do it for me, I could still be using GreenBrowser.

| GUI: Features: Ease of use: Value: | | If more people used this browser less of them would end up with a PC filled with spyware and rubbish. To be able to simply turn off javascripting and other active webpage tat, is a great feature. I know these other browser frontends have this too but wait a minute, this is FREE and it really is the BEST out of them all. I have tried them all over the years and always come back to this one because it is so simple and user friendly and has a bunch of brilliant features to make browsing the web and enjoyable experience. Also it really is VERY STABLE indeed. My experience of similar programs is one of constant crashing or other bugs/pproblems.
Get GB...you can't go wrong! |

| GUI: Features: Ease of use: Value: | | | Excellent IE Shell! |

| GUI: Features: Ease of use: Value: | | Featurewise, Maxthon is your best bet.
Securitywise, DeepNet Explorer is your best bet.
Speedwise, Avant is your best bet.
Interfacewise, GreenBrowser is your best bet.
Thats pretty much what it breaks down to...
They all look the same with the IE6 look, but I think GreenBrowser does it best.
They have pretty much all the same features so its not like Maxthon has a bunch of features and GB doesnt. Id say GB has like 80% of the features Maxthon has, if not more.
You cant go wrong with any of the FrontEnds. The one thing that makes GreenBrowser more valuable than the others is its tool in the options that lets you delete individual entries from the Typed-URL history.
All the other frontends delete all or none...
Or you can do the arduous task of going through the registry to do it manually...
I'll stick with GB for that :). |

| GUI: Features: Ease of use: Value: | | | I've never had any problems with Maxthon, which it seems very similar to. However it doesnt feature RSS, as Maxthon does, without which I never would have known about this thread |
