| | GUI: Features: Ease of use: Value: | | This software is one of the most valuable pieces of software available. It appends "bad" sites to your block sites internet security settings such that you never visit them and risk installing the crap from those sites.
The program is free ot use...I think the auto-update feature requires purchasing...but I find no need for it. The fact that version 3.3 came out indicates that this software HAS updates, and therefore any subsequent update will include the most recent definitions.
Note: this software is not one to REMOVE spyware/adware. Its one to PREVENT IT from ever installing, which is a VERY powerful tool.
The GUI is nice. It has support for both Internet Explorer and Firefox/Mozilla. And its lightweight. Hell, you just have to click the "enable all protection" button and then you can close the software, never having to let it run as a process, since all this does is append "bad" sites to your blocked sites list as i stated above.
Overall, if you dont have this, get it, because it is the one tool you should have to help prevent spyware/adware from installing. |
