| GUI:   Features: Ease of use: Value: |  | This is a terrific idea. On my system (a reasonably high powered Dell running WinXPSP3), however, it doesn't work. When I drag something to the window a mostly-empty dialog opens indicating some kind of transfer, it stays there annoyingly and worryingly (because something obviously isn't working correctly), and then... nothing. WIthin the widow I can create a Folder, but...
I'll play around with it a little more, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to uninstall it.
Very disappointing, bec it's such a superior concept. |

Since it can be accessed from pretty much any computer, it can be used to collect files, then at a later date you can reorganize the files and upload them to Google Docs or your home file server. I have set up a rule in my Gmail account that filters all mails with the GmailFS extension, tags them and archives them. This way my inbox doesn't get cluttered.
Lately, the only problem is that I am getting a system error that says that the process is timing out. Don't know if Google has changed something. |

| | GUI: Features: Ease of use: Value: | | I've been using the GMail Drive shell extension for a long time now, it's an fantastic app I use regurly. It has always worked fine until google changes something but quickly enough there was always an update and after I update it would work fine again. But lately it has trouble connecting, after logging in it generates an error but then logs in any way, and the connection isn't really stable. Also, you get blocked (temporarely) quite quickly bij google if you send large files.
I hope there will be an update soon that works out the connection-problems. |

I can\'t seem to make it work. It installs just fine, but no drive comes up in \"my computer\". When i go to the remove programs area, its there and all.. Im running windows Vista buisness 64bit. any clue anyone? |

| | GUI: Features: Ease of use: Value: | | I mis-entered my password and it was not intuitive how to stop it from continually cycling trying to log on - had to figure out to right click the drive and then click "login as" to redo the info.
Brings up a point - would be great if you could add multiple gmail logins and have them all show up as folders on a Gmail Drive Icon - with the unlimited email addresses Google now allows - would be a great addition. |
