Yet another spam blocker that is crippled and nags you to death to upgrade to a pay version. So it's not exactly Freeware. It's also unstable on my (ususlly very stable) machine. Be warned.

This is the best antispam software for your home PC ever made.

All you do is install it and reboot the computer (since it installs an LSP layer on your computer and you have to reboot to make it work). And you are good to go. Well, that is assuming, of course, that you use one of the big e-mail clients like Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, Mozilla Thunderbird, etc. If your mail client isnt one of the big ones then you can setup Spam Experts to work with it, since it works with any and ALL mail clients. All you have to do is tell Spam Experts the EXE file of your mail program and it will have spam protection over it.

Basically Spam Experts intercepts all mail before it reaches your mail client and classifies it as spam or not based on your teachings (for the first 10-15 mails you have to tell Spam Experts whether the mail is spam or not...from there on out it learns what is Spam and what is not). Nonspam will get to your mail program while spam will never reach your mail program...never.

Id say so far that Spam Experts is 99% effective in blocking spam. Theres always a mail here and there every few weeks which it misses that you just have to teach the program to block in the future.

The best part is that it talks with the server and sends back information about the spam you block and they integrate those into a definitions file, as if this was antivirus or something. It will automatically update the programs definitions from time to time. Its great.
