Doesn't look as pretty as some others, but works great. I don't need to login to password protected sites like the above user so I haven't had any problems.

| | GUI: Features: Ease of use: Value: | | | Beautiful interface and simple design suffer from several fatal flaws. The worst one: inability to download from password protected sites. There is no native provision to utilize a username & password. Download managers are nice, but I especially want one when I'm utilizing a site I've PAID for. Generally that means a username and password. There are other better free downloaders out there, like the obtusely name "freedownloader." Other free download managers also offer better features. They might not be as pretty or easy, but they offer critical functions TrueDownloader does not. But the author still should bet an A for supporting freeware. |
