| GUI: Features: Ease of use: Value: | | | I had to jump through hoops to download and install this, and now they're bugging me to register even though I already have a year or two ago. They also push their other software, which I happen to not need. Fresh Devices has gotten on my last nerve and I'm switching to Free Download Manager, which is really honestly free. |

| GUI: Features: Ease of use: Value: | | Its free, and its another download manager that stands its ground against other download managers...however I don't see any great benefits of using this program over others.
It does some things like flashget, and some things like free download manager, however there doesnt seem to be the ability to highlight a certain part of the page, right click it and tell FD to download the selection, like FlashGet and Free Download Manager will let you do. And when you tell FD to download everything from the page, the window you get has no filtering options...though I like how they made it the check-box interface like FlashGet, where as FDM is very ugly in this respect. However FlashGet and FDM GIVE you filtering options.
Personally if free is what you want, then stick to Free Download Manager or FlashGet.
I still like my FlashGet, which is free with ad bar :). |
