ForceVision is a great image management tool.

It offers the same tri-view setup found in many other viewers (folder list,thumbnail/file list, picture viewer/previewer). The picture viewer is separate from the folder list & file list windows. I prefer them all pasted together, but this is of course subjective.

ForceVision offers an extraordinary assortment of photo manipulation and adjustment tools. This array of tools should cover about 99% of the commonly performed adjustments pictures often require.

The application is not as fast as I'd like, though it's not a total slug. It would also be nice if it had built-in EXIF/metadata capabilities.

But its generously discounted price of FREE makes it rank "EXCELLENT" in my world.

This is similar to Irfanview, but has a feature Irfanview lacks - an easy to use selection tool. With ForceVision you have a full pack of selection tools: rectangular, polygonal, elliptical, lasso and magic wand. Thus, it's quite useful even if you already have Irfanview.

Suggestion: I really like the mboss feature in ForceVision. But it would be even better if it had a scale control, say, 1-5 levels of emboss.
