Not a useful tool for knowledgeable users and far too difficult for "noobs".
The useful features knowledgeable users already know, and the noobs are gonna get into big trouble with this app.
With all apps of this type, you risk system instability...not a knock on Tune Up, but the nature of the beast. Noobs won't have a clue as to what's screwed up. Hardly something anyone should need to pay good money for. A nice start, but useless in its present iteration.

The only problem i face with this very good software as of today, my kaspersky 6 detect appinitialization.bpl in tuneup utilities 2007's program files folder as trojam program name as 'backdoor.win32.rbot.fcw'. Is it false positive or what? There's no whatsoever reference to it on any trusty web as i check a s a p after knew. I try to skip the detect but kaspersky keeps annoying me like my parent but of course for my own good.

By the way i trust kaspersky completely becoz it never disappointed me before in the almost same kind situation i facedas this, which kaspersky suddenly detected in any software that i have already installed for a months in my PC that have virus / spyware / trojan. This is becoz of their great virus detection update which faster than other AV. Also my PC still safe as of today after situation like that and one or two medium malware problem not gonna change it.

The BEST tweaking tool to choose because it's the easiest to use. You can revert any change you made if you want. If you don't want to create backups, just turn them off. It's the safest tool, and it works.

Very nice interface and ease of use!
Most of the features are great but not all.
The Disk cleaner is not as good as the one in Ace Utilities.
The Registry cleaner is not as good as the one in Ace Utilities.
I still use the disk and registry cleaner in TuneUp Utilities as it finds not as much but often other things to delete (they complement each other well). Also, always user CCleaner first for basic cleaning.
The registry defragmenter is the best I have found (I have tested the one in TweakNow RegCleaner and Registry Mechanic).
The MemOptimizer I dont know about, I dont use that kind of program but I know there are similar programs for free.
The System Optimizer does nice windows tweaks (internet and system).
The SystemControl got even more nice tweaks, however most of them are available in the free MS TweakUI tool.
The start up manager is good but not as good as the one in PrcView (free).
The System Information is a great information tool (the best I have found), note however that the information is probably available directly in windows but not in one place (and easy to find).
The Styler works but there are free applications to change the boot screen. The login I dont know about (I use old login). The Icon changer is not very good (all files on cd's for example got the same icon, and can't handle IconPackager 3.0 iconpackages). Visual Styles can be change directly in windows so I don't find any use for this (there are also styles available for windows xp that does not need any application to be used).
The process manager is nice pretty much the same as PrcView.
The Registry Editor is better than windows original and the search finds equal or more than Registry Crawler.
The Uninstall manager does not seem to do much more than windows original.
The secure file deleter is good but I prefer the configurability of the one in Ace Utilities.
The Undelete ability is good but only if you know the filename, for good results you might need an undelete application.
The price is a little high for all these kinds of applications I think but it is 10$ below Ashampoo WinOptimizer (and better), and 10$ above Ace Utilities (wich I also use and recommend).

These Tool are far the Best on the Market!!!

You just cannot go wrong with this one! Kind of likethe old Norton Utilities on steroids except *these* all work, and work well.
Reasonably priced and plenty of protection for the inexpert user!
