Having an older Dual CPU system (not Dual Core), I often found my computer lagging under heavy usage. It wasn\'t until I installed PL that I realizedd how many application I ran that are not multithreaded and therefore bogginh down on of my CPUs while the other remained virtually untouched.

Using process lasso, I set default affinities to everytday processes and intensive applications to seperate CPUS. I leve my multithreaded aps set to both. It\'s as if I upgraded all of my hardware, the speed and performance increase is amazing. For the first time in many years, I feel like I am finally getting the performance I paid for. Which is why I chose to donate to the author to spite the fact that PL is free.
