Great application to use in replacement to "msconfig".
I use this daily to deselect any newly installed apps that add themselves, without asking, to the startup (java, real, etc).
The only problem I have is that the app doesn't remember it's recently opened window setting (size and position) but that is not a big deal breaker for me.

Does anyone know when this program will be Vista compatible?

I have used codestuff starter for about 3-4 years I would say. I used to use MSCONFIG and manually disabled things through the registry. I now only use this program to remove unwanted programs from Windows startup. The ease of this program is amazing. It tells what programs start up with the computer, what is running in the background. On top of that it let's you do a google search if you see a start up program or background running program is just by right clicking and searching. Never had a problem with it from my years of use. Vista.. .. well, what works with Vista?

I use this little tool the most in my toolkit. Any time my system slows down I open it up and see what's running and disable all the goofy little startup programs. I install it on all my friends systems and teach them how to use. Excellent!!

I could not agree more with the review comment, "most pervasive software in its category". It truly is in a class by itself.

I've tried a dozen or so startup managers, and in my opinion this one is the best. Great interface, advanced features, and rock solid stability.
