| GUI:  Features: Ease of use: Value: |  | | I had a system in which DNS name resolution failed. When pinging an IP address the IP address was currupted in first line of the ping output. But it would still ping. IE couldn't browse to anytihng. It was looking like a full rebuild, but I tried "WinSockFix" and it did indeed fix it ! Thanks guys for making my life just that little bit easier! |

| | GUI: Features: Ease of use: Value: | | | I could ping the numbers but not the names. XP Pro SP2 showed a connection but I couldn\'t browse and MSN Messenger wouldn\'t connect. Tweaking Firewalls/Norton/TCP/IP?proxy settings didn\'t change anything. Then I ran WinSockFix and rebooted: not only did Messenger sign in but IE6 was browsing fine again. Fixed. |

I've been having problems with webpages loading incorrectly in IE7....error messages...ieframe.dll problems...flash player ads not loading, etc. I'm no "techy" by any means but I keep searching the Internet for a solution. I'm so grateful I found this program. With a couple of clicks, my internet connection is running smoothly again.
