| GUI:  Features: Ease of use:  Value: |  | Do not be fooled by the fact that this software has not been updated. I have been using it for more than 5 years on many computers with never a problem.
The interface is simply legible - no bells, whistles or extra colors. This is an example of what I want in a utility: make it easy to use, make it do what it claims to do and make me glad that I used it. Together with CCleaner and a decent defragger (like Ultra Defrag), you can do a computer a lot of good with minimal risk. |

| | GUI: Features: Ease of use: Value: | | Lexun Freeware is no more (even the website is gone now), but RegScrubXP lives on in downloads. An excellent free registry tool, it has always been reliable and safe and quick. (Check out the "Misc..." button, too, for a long list of very useful "Tips and Tweaks".)
A pity RegScrubVista never made it past its beta stage. |

It has not deleted anything it shouldn't have and I have used it on multiple computers many times. It also has a simple restore function button for deleted entries that it automatically names and stores. Used in conjunction with ccleaner you can do a lot of good for a bogged down computer, after you remove the bloatware that is. |
