| GUI: Features: Ease of use: Value: | | This was a relatively basic file synch program that was made better than programs with equivalent functionality due to it's excellent GUI. If I needed more technical options, I would have used a different app, but this was just fine for a standard synch.
Only gripe I had was that it seemed to be a little slower than comparible products (eg. Vice Versa, SynchBack, etc) |

| GUI: Features: Ease of use: Value: | | I really like SyncToy 2 BETA. My only complaint is that it generates duplicate files in the form .1. on the other drive. This is annoying as I then have to search for, and remove, duplicates.
Otherwise, it's great!

| GUI: Features: Ease of use: Value: | | I don't think this is a bad program. It does its job. It syncs files from two locations.
It does have a decent amount of features, coming from Microsoft and being free.
But my problem is that for some reason it does not work with my mp3 player. I have a Sansa Sandisk e260. I can browse for the mp3 player's folders, but it does not let me select the folder as a sync folder, therefore I can not sync to my portable media device. |

| GUI: Features: Ease of use: Value: | | | I used the suitcase function before to synchronize my files. While the WindowsXP suitcase looks like as if it is relict of the Win95 era, this MS PowerToy does the job much better. You have more control by chosing from different sync methods and the listing what actions will be performed next is really good to keep control. While the Windows suitcase interface just freezed when performing jobs like scanning or copying, SyncToy shows a nice statusbar. The interface is quite empty, could be easier and better structured, but still I recommend SyncToy. |
