Comodo Backup is usable, but just barely. It's far too hard to use for anything but simple folder backups. The average person could be trained to right click a folder and zip it to a selected folder much more quickly than learning to use Comodo Backup. I can understand it and use it, but none of the dozens of computer users I know, would want to use it. They would all reject it for being too complicated. That's a shame, because there is a program called Second Copy that is far more simple yet far more powerful than Comodo Backup. Comodo needs to borrow a few features from Second Copy, such as check boxes next to folders, and simpler and more comprehensive way to include and exclude files and folders. I presume this program was created by Comodo for internal use, and it's probably perfect for them. However, it is not a product that the public will accept in its present form. |
