many user with bad experience will turn away from any unknown /exe files, ;earn from bad experiences. UBCD4Win sounds like a hidden agenda piece of crap try to harvest on the desperate...I think .exe file is a bad ideal. |

Neither the password protected admin account nor the guest account would get me access to my hard drive. UBCD allowed me to access the system restore on my computer. Stepping back to a known good registry date worked! My computer is back up and running just fine. I didn’t know about this product. A computer friend of mine, nicknamed OGO – Oh, Great One!- actually fixed it. Thank you! I did send a donation thru PayPal. I plan to download and create a CD for future issues. |

Just because something is free i.e. AVG, it doesn't mean that the publisher of the software will allow the copyright to be used by whoever wants to use it, as they still own it and have the final say.
I am a 3rd Level Microsoft support consultant, and this piece of software is an invaluable tool for a tech. The fact that it is free is even better. The fact that M a t t L e e has moaned about this is criminal. The guy has given this to the world for free. if you need something quickly without having to pay a price/license fee, this is what you need - support is a reactive science, and sometimes you don't have the time to get procurement for a piece of paid software.
UBCD4Win - congratulations on this very nice piece of kit

choosing opera over firefox
choosing avg over avast
those r alone r the stupidest choices. avg has the lowest detection rate yet its chosen over avast who has a high detection rate? illogical
opera is horrible, it freezes when it comes to downloading pages with images, its also not that customizable. firefox the better overall choice, ive used both so i know.
seems like he wants to offer worse freeware than the best. i was gonna download this till i noticed his choice of software ((now im not so sure)). notepad ++ cant even hold a candle to edit pad lite. deep burner free cant hold a candle to burnaware free. granted some r toss ups but those 4 choices arent toss ups. the 4 he offers there r limited in comparison to the 4 i mentioned. |
