| GUI: Features: Ease of use: Value: | | Well xPlode is an excellent program for power users. Any administrator or whatever should try it, and maybe after that pay for it, it's defenitly worth it!
It's certainly not meant to be used by users like that 'Tokar' above me, who can't even read an EULA... |

The readme is the docs.pdf file that is extract.
God forbid he could name the file README.PDF.
The dev is also a jackass on the forums.
The people on the forums admit their stupidity and still require help. Yet he closes their threads and gives them nothing.
And when people on the forum try to help them he removes their messages and leaves them out to dry. |

| GUI: Features: Ease of use: Value: | | The developer of this software is such a dumbass...making his software so difficult for the new user.
First off, getting this software to run requires some work and modification of files. Running the EXE does nothing. You quickly find out that it requires the existence of an xplode.xml after running the included .cmd file. After getting that XML file renamed to xplode.xml it finally runs.
Then he makes it very stupid for getting the software to run. You cant run it without clicking a hidden link in the EULA...
The new user to this software will literally spend 10 minutes trying to locate the button to advance the setup such that he/she can actually use the program....and that is because the developer decided to put it hidden away in the EULA, expecting people to actually read it and see it.
Man i read it 2-3 times, and i STILL couldnt find the damn link.
I ended up having to go to his forum and seeing a picture that someone posted with a big red circle, circling where I had to click to advance the software.
After finally getting past the EULA i actually used the program.
I was so pissed off about these previous two things that i Had no patience for doing anything in the program.
I just went back to using such programs as n-Lite for my Windows moficiation needs. |
