Dear Author, iwas download it very easily but it didn't install it is showing error. why it show error most people suffered from this same problem so tell how could i remove this software and anyone please tell me IS VISTAMIZER IS BETTER THAN VISTA TRANSFORMATION.

Well worth the download. Brilliant graphics and design. Every last detail is exceptional. It does not make the computer go slow, however the download may be a bit slow due to connection speed, but if you have to wait a while for it to download it is well worth it. Many friends have seen the screens and are none the wiser toward the fact that it is just a transformation pack. Anyone moaning, I cannot understand you.

everything works for me except my toolbar below like the (start) has been replaced by the windows button but the tool bar is still windows classic? how can i make it look like vista?

Its good, in my opinion. But no match to original win vista yet.

I just wanted to know before I install the program that it's surely just a theme and will change ONLY the looks of my PC. I'm scared because my brother downloaded a program before that totally changed his XP OS to the VISTA OS and deleted all his files, programs, etc.

I have downloaded this pack and it was easy to download. While was installing there was a message that said you are using a beta OS or a beta SP. My point is why does it say it if I don't have a beta OS neither a beta SP

I was able to download the program very easy, it installed very easy also, no problems. Not really impressed with Vista, this program is great, but its Vista that I can live without, I was able to uninstall it just as easy and revert back to XP. It was worth the try I just hate change I guess, also like UBUNTU better :) Nice job on the program!!

i am running win xp professional on my computer. on 2 july i tried to download VISTA TRANSFORMATION PACK 8.0.1 four times, but somehow or the other the download would break down most of the times. last attempt i succeeded in downloading it through the download manager, but on opening the downloaded file i found that only 228B have been downloaded and it is corrupt. i am wondering where did the 25.7MB went which took 1hr 30min on my dial up connection.
very frustrated in wasting my time on such a useless prog

Its not working at all, when i click on .exe file then it shows me a message "this application encounter a problem and needs to be closed, report this error to microsoft"

one more thing before trying to install this vista transformation pack i installed the sidebar tool succesfully there is no issue in that......

For just a bunch of bells and whistles, this program is far too CPU demanding; especially considering that [despite sincere efforts] some of the Vista UI effects are replicated rather poorly (lack of blur in transparency being one of them). I would definitely not recommend this download because I imagine two possible scenarios by the time this project is [more or less] perfected: either Vista will become stable enough for XP users to switch to, or the Vista GUI style itself will grow out of fashion ("Nothing is certain but change").

Looks great but their are some major problems with the system files it replaces, the ones it inserts are not compatible with windows xp Profesional SP2. This can cause problems when you uninstall the software such as an inability to access desktop properties, internet properties, view web page source and edit the registry. This pack can also cause your system to crash due to the large amount of the CPU it uses.

I cannot install at all. I am not sure if it is because of the XP SP3 or not. I have the SP3 installed, then I tried to install the Vista Transformation, but it does not work. It just show the error reporting to Microsoft.

so basically i tried installing vista transformation pack 8.0.1.. it dint instal..

then i rebooted thru safe mode, installed it.. perfect.. my system reuns service pack2.. so here is the technique, reboot thru safe mode!!!

after that i decided to try vistamizer..

now to be frank, i personally liked the vistamizer results, compared to VTP8.0.1..

so u be the judge and make a sensible decision.. just google out for both softwares and read other reviews..

guys this is not the best vista replication anymore, VistaMizer is. does everything this does and more. plus it actually has the 3rd party software unchecked to begin with. this means you get to choose which features you want, not forced into it by default.

ive used almost every transformation pack out there and i would put this in 3rd atm of the completely free ones. but the ones behind VistaMizer are so far behind its stupid to recommend any other vista replacement, then VistaMizer

The same problem - it's impossible to install it, although I've got SP2 in my computer. Does anybody know how to solve it? I'm quite pissed off, have fought with the installation for more than 2 hours without success!

This works fine if you are having problems you should think about installing sp2 and also making sure programs that are going to be changed by the pack arent running then you should have no problems using this, you might also want a little more ram as their will be other programs running to make your system look like vista.
Other then that a great pack to use.
