This software is great. It lets you run VIRTUAL operating systems IN WINDOWS.
You have so many options as to what to run, its amazing.
Just allocate a certain amount of your hard drive to act as the virtual partition for the drive and you are ready to install a new operating system.
Windows DOS 3.1, 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP, 2003 Server
Any Linux Distro
Any Unix Distro
BeOS
anything except MacOS will work here.
Even BartPE CDs will boot up.
The best part is that you arent forced to install the OS from CDs. The virual CDROM the virtual operating systems see are customizable to read whatever you want.
Any physical CD drive
Any ISO file
Any directory...
its great. You dont have to burn anything if you dont want to.
From what i understand you can also run your native Operating System in a window. Im not sure how this works, but Im told that its good for testing out certain softwares with your native environment without actually changing anything. Dont ask me...i just read forums...heh.
Highly recommended for OS testing...and fool around with Longhorn...hahahaha. |
