This used to be called ml_Ipod, and it is already built into WinAMP after version 5.2 or something. However I think its still necessary to download these versions from Softpedia and such since WinAMP only updates the plugin with each new version of WinAMP, which is less often than the plugin itself.
Basically this gives WinAMP Media Library iPod support. Ive used it in the past and it is very nice because it isnt iTunes :). iTunes is slow...WinAMP is nice and fast.
I highly recommend iPod users give this a try. I know this plugin supports reading and editing music on the iPod as well as copying music to the iPod. I do not recall whether this lets you delete music from the iPod...I haven't tested this with Video either. I know WinAMP supports video...but my iPod was an iPod Mini, well before the days of iPod video. |
