| GUI:   Features: Ease of use: Value: |  | I have Vista and Nokia 6120 classic. I am able connect both using the suite there is one things that vista alters me all time that it was unable to install the drivers for my mentioned mobile thus the performance is connection's consistency is not achieved.
please give me tips/solutions for this

| | GUI: Features: Ease of use: Value: | | Has to be the worst version available.Bring back the original.The new version is slow and temperamental.Doesn't want to sync 70% of the time using Bluetooth.Nokia WAKE UP AND FIX THE PROBLEMS.
I keep repairing it but unless I reboot the laptop or the pc it wont sync. |

1.The categories sync with outlook function is missing. My next phone will not be a Nokia until they add this most important feature!
2. Tasks sync with outlook does not support 'no date' so have to keep on updating date for overdued tasks.
Overall, I would not buy a Nokia as my next phone as an outlook user. |

| | GUI: Features: Ease of use: Value: | | I have seen my friends fiddling with bluetooth and PC with their non-Nokian phones, and I think that Nokia's software causes much less trouble than theirs, although you may have to click "Search again" another time to find the phone in "Get connected". I even noticed that you can connect two phones at the same time!
I have the habit to upgrade to the latest version of PC Suite, and I am always keen to see its progress, and it is very versatile for many purposes.
The things I am perhaps missing the most for my needs are a calendar application, and it would be nice to be able to extract all messages to PC in a more convenient format. Hope the guys in Nokia read this and add these tools there too - then it will be Excellent! |

Now with BlueTooth it is perhaps worse.
I plan to pursue the open-source approach and write some software of my own!
Surely, such a huge phone manufacture can put together some simple software!!?

Until now I haven't encountered any errors or problems, and it really looks that the software developers have made a big leap forward when developing this new version. Especially the new Image Store concept is extremely well planned and implemented and copying of the photos from my imaging phone to PC is now a snap. Also in many other areas of the application, GUI has undergone major improvements and the current version is easier to use than ever. And what is also very important, you can use the same application with practically all current Nokia phones, supporting Bluetooth, Infrared or cable connection. I warmly recommend you to download and upgrade to the current version of PC Suite. It is a freeware, by the way."

| | GUI: Features: Ease of use: Value: | | This software is bug-ridden. The PC Sync software running in the Windows Task Bar will not exit properly. You must force an exit using the Windows Task Manager, and even then, you can't run the software again until you restart your PC. The biggest headache is the PC Sync softare only recognizes new connections (either through an IR port or Bluetooth) once. After you walk away with your phone and return back, it will not recognize the phone, even if you go to the Nokie Connection Manager and restablish the connection. The only way to get connected again is to restart your PC. I've reported this problem a number of times to Nokia, and they've passed the buck every time. I never get to a techie there, only customer service staff that just respond with canned responses. You know how that goes.
Sorry, can't recommend this software at all. |
