| GUI:  Features: Ease of use: Value: |  | I originally used this at version 1.1 and wasnt very impressed. I was looking forward to using the ultra large recycle bin but it didnt work as promised, so I ditched 1.1 and never used it again.
I just downloaded and tried avedesk 1.3 last week, and all i have to say is..."WOW". They implemented this flip technology which you can check out in the tutorial widget. Its ridiculously awesome.
And yes, the recycle bin widget works exactly like the real thing...with some added features. Its really nice.
Everything is great. There are tons of widgets available in the program and TONS available online. The community is great over at AquaSoft forums.
The best part of it all is that the RAM cost is so low...its ridiculous.
I think that this is the best widget program on the market. |

| GUI:  Features: Ease of use: Value: | | | The program works pretty well in XP, but where Softpedia describes it as for Windows ALL, please note it won't work in 98 SE or lower. It gives a warning it's missing the UpdateLayeredWindow function of USER32.DLL, and as Microsoft themselves will tell you, that function wasn't included until windows 2000. In XP it is impressive. Check out the wallpaper calender overlays in particular. |
