This site seems really dodgy to me. I tried to pay for my drive to be unlocked through Paypal 5 times and each time the payment was rejected. I contacted their customer support who suggested I contact Paypal regarding the state of my account. I did this and as I figured there was nothing wrong with it. Paypal said the link on their end to Paypal was the problem. Totally frustrated and as a last resort, I thought I would pay via credit card, but their page shows that the page is not locked and therefore my information will available to anyone. That is not what they say in their facts page. I reckon it's DODGY, DODGY, DODGY. Needless to say, I didn't go ahead with entering my credit card details or my purchase.

Another free utility that won't work till paid for!!!!

One thing that is not clear from this description is that HDDunlock once ran, will wipe your disk clean.

Had a simply locked 200GB fujistu laptop hard drive.
The program listed it as a pwd locked hard drive.
I selected it, and put the utility to it, which then came back and said that it could not configure the drive. Wah?

Also, I have a suspicion that this 'free' program will in fact ask for money iffn when it finds that one's drive is unlockable, as it requires internet access to work at all upon the target drive; their website emphasizes a $49 charge to unlock a drive, so I don't know.
