Product won't work, support blames everyone and everything for their software issues, customer care is a joke. Avoid this sptware at all costs

Every six months you have to repay or you can't use Hide IP NG. And you can NEVER get a response from the company when you email them.

Non-existent customer service if you have any issues or inquiries. Avoid for that simple reason.

Installed it and it worked for a short period. Very slow connections. Reloaded sytem with new motherboard and now it refuses to connect telling me to allow through firewall. I haven't even got the firewall on! Customer support just ignores you, no response at all. Avoid like the plague!!

Worked for me (The software). Do not think you get any support wrom the developers. like you read in other reviews.

I feel that the product has potential. However, I am being realistic in my disappointment with this product, so that people who are interested in buying the real deal are aware of what they may run into.
As I said, the notion is a good one. It gives you choices of US and UK IPs and they can be switched to very easily without rebooting. HOWEVER, and I want to make this point very clear, there is no customer support.
I brought this product in August 2010 and since then I have only been able to use it intermittently as it keeps on asking for a username and password. This was not issued to me when I brought the product. Thus, I have no idea of what it is. Then, when I do get it to work, it works for a very short period of time then an 'authentication required ' dialogue box comes up requesting my username and passwordI downloaded the 1.58 version yesterday and nothing has changed!
I feel it s very important to leave an objective and non biased review based on what I have brought. This is clearly what I have intended to do.
To reiterate, if the product was fully functional and it worked, then I would have no trouble leaving a positive review, as it has potential.
What has let this product down for me has been the lack of response to the many emails that I have sent to this company.

No problems so far. It\'s so quick connecting, you wonder sometimes if its working. The support sucks though. I have contacted them several times with no replies. You purchase it, your on your own.
I must say, It is fast, but slows down the internet connection like all of them do.

i downloaded this and i can tell you it's rubbish . it told me by email this isn't installed correctly and told me i need to download it when i already had it on my laptop. i added the license code and it keeps coming up please restart firefox to take effect. also it is blocking me emailing as now my thunderbird and other email services are saying login which they never have before , by telling me manually. i entered the correct info and it says it is failed. it looks like i won't be emailing for a yr till this subscription is up or i may have to waste 20 quid and uninstall this rubbish.

Be VERY careful using this product. someone from a forum wanted to know my real IP, so they contacted the techs from the UK IP host and the tech guy had no problem revealing my IP to them. the hide IP website says its 100% secure and they don't keep logs, well thats just bull. the UK IP hosts DO keep logs and dont even ask why they want the IP, I had the mail forwarded to me, the forum owners just made a request for the IP of the user using it on and gave the date time site, and the tech guy replied with my real ip, no questions asked, I didn't even do or say anything illegal or nasty. dont waste ur money.

This thing does not work at all. After installing it my router has been under DOS attacks scanning for open ports. Also very slow browsing which is a result of the router under attack. Installing this is like telling "here I'm" this is my IP, come and get me.

It is working very nice. you can choose USA or UK, but SPEED is really outrageous.

USA servers MAX 0.8 MBit/s -outrageous
UK servers MAX 2.5 MBit/s - not bad.

My internet speed is 10 mbit, so I got about 8% from USA servers. Very bad

I bought the product on September 12th 2009. It worked for 3 weeks then stopped me accessing the internet so I had to uninstall it. I sent many emails over the next several weeks then finally got a reply asking for a "Report". I sent one and despite several weeks of sending many more emails and with NO SERVICE AT ALL, asking for a refund, I have received no replies from these crooks. They have stolen my money in exchange for a worthless product. They are frauds.

The company makes loud noise on how good the product is. But if you face any connecting problem then your money is gone down the drain. For every mail you send to customer support you will get a response of either please clear the cache or they are looking into the issue. For the last 2 months I have been mailing them as I'm unable to connect to their server. Till to date no clear instruction is given on how to resolve this issue. They are very eager to take the payment. Useless software programmers

This product either did not hide my IP and/or slowed down my surfing to a crawl. Web pages would not show at all and it actually caused i.e.8 to crash. I had high hopes for this product, however was sadly disappointed.

This definitely DOES NOT work for watching video or anything other than simple slow browsing. Expect speeds of only 0.3Mbps at the most which is only 1/5 of my normal connection!! Does not work at all with BBC and ITV for watching UK shows because of this. Complete waste of money. AVOID if your are an F1 fan outside of the UK...

This one works perfectly with absolutely any browser and Internet connection is still high. It still needs to fix a few important bugs, but once done it will be a must-have app.

I have tried at least 5 different IP blocking programs. They all slow your browsing experience down to dial up speed. This program is great, so fast that I had to make sure it was actually working and it was. Worth the money to buy the full license. I cannot say enough about this program.

I find this an essential tool for listening to BBC broadcasts like Test Match Special. The commentary of foreign cricket tours is blocked outside the UK and living in Prague as I do there would be no other way to get these broadcasts. I have tried using free proxy servers and fewer and fewer of these work properly or at all. As I write this I've just listened to England getting thrashed by India with a fluent audio stream and video scorecard. The program may not be perfect but if you want a way to get round the BBC's broadcasting restrictions, I strongly recommend this.

This is a very easy program to use all of the ip checking web sities showed i was using an usa ip from thailand no problems with slow down compared to public proxys this is very fast i would recommend it to anyone if you are an expat from the uk and want to watch itv or bbc online

you sofware sucks... i wasted my money buying it. my system slowed down.. to all future buyer dont waste your money with this SHIT!!!!

Does not work, wasted an hour trying to get it to work and it won't hide my ip address. Not intuitive and slowed down my system tremendously and it screwed up my torrent download I had in the back ground which was three hours down the drain. Do not download this product. I wasted time downloading it, trying to get it to work now writing a review and have to uninstall it. Dont waste your time like I just did. THe anonymizer program worked for a bit but it was a week trial as well but I wont buy it b/c it does not make it easy (havent figured out yet) hot to change the IP it assigns you. Hide IP looked like it could, but its garbage program, poorly designed, I am still looking for a good program. www.kaxy.com sucks as well. I have an admin of a chatboard that is mad at me for joking he was short napolean (he's five feet tall) so now he bans every new account at the drop of a hat and bans my IP. Been there for years and its funny how irked he gets.
I guess Ill just have to learn the TOR network stuff. I wish there was something simple but this program is complete crap
