How to DiSaBlE 'ffdshow audio decoder' from System Tray?
Problem after installing K-Lite codec pack v 5.6.1.0, 14.7mb.
along with ffdshow audio decoder:
I installed K-lite codec pack for 'Video to gif converter'
as it was not importing AVI file.
When i was using Windows Movie Maker i imported
audio file to it i saw two icon of 'ffdshow' in my System Tray taking huge Ram i googled how to disable these
from the Tray to free up Ram
i did the following and it worked
Double click the icon in System Tray
or go to
Start select "All Programs'
Select "K-Lite Codec Pack'
Select 'Configuration' or click 'Uninstall K-Lite codec pack''
if u want to uninstall otherwise do as under
Click 'ffdshow audio decoder'
in the PopUp window on top left side select 'Codecs'
On the right u will see three rows
Format Decoder & Details
under 'Decoder' i disabled all the
formats by just clicking and
selecting 'disabled'
and don't forget to disable
below 'Uncompressed' format
and then click apply this is how
i got rid of all this as i have only
640mb Ram.

Even Though K-Light is one of the best all round media players on the market today they may wish to re think the name. When i mention it to my friends they think im talking about Kazza Light and wont touch it with a 10 foot pole.
K-Light codec pack deserves more than this if you havent used Klight before you really must try it out
PS message to the creators: Please never change the feature to pause with the space bar it has got to be one of the handiest features, Microsoft could learn a thing or two from you people

Wonder why?......
In the rest, i had no problem in plaing all kind of formats.

bakwas doesnt work atall...to start with the speed to download is excelently slow....vry vry poor..pls dont download it

There is no Virus inside this program.Tested with Avira AntiVir w/ newest viri databese.
I use this codecs for almost a year and i must say i havan't found any othere which colud comperd with this one.
Installer: While installing codecs,setup will atomaticly find any bed/corruped/missing codeces or registry entris from previous instalations and fix it.
Program is so rich in codecs taht will play almost enything which can be played ;)
Program comes with set of usefull tools like gspot who will trace how video and audio of a siingel file is decoded and where's the probelm
You can mannualy configure ech one of filters used in playback
You got Media Player Classic.Low on memory & CPU and much more adavnced then Windows MP.
I higly Recommend that codecs for you.
