I've used Tarma for several years now and I'm very satisfied with both the quality of the product and the technical support. You will hardly find a better product for this price.

I have only tried the trial version for an hour or so, but creating application installs is really easy - and much quicker than other products.

Tarma beats others I have tried in terms of ease-of-use and really shines when you look at the prices.

You product is about 20 times cheaper per user and your site license is considerably better than onother product which only offers a per-user price over $1800!

I don\'t need a licensed version quite yet, but Tarma will be my obvious choice when I do.

My only suggestion is that you may wish to allow installs in the root of c: without error generation.

    WELL DONE!

    Jim

I've worked extensively with the bigger names on the installer scene (InstallShield and InstallAware), so I thought I should leave my opinion about Tarma here.

GUI is not eye-candy but I found myself at home in just a few minutes. It's simple and intuitive.

Feature-wise, it offers a lot more than you'd expect for the price. It does everything 95% of users will require and still more (localization, customizable installer GUI, pre-requisites handling, Windows 7 support, .NET support, Windows Mobile installers ...).

Being used to other installer products, it was indeed very easy to use. I made the first complete installer in about 10 minutes. And it worked as expected.

Price is unbeatable. It's a no-brainer really. Immensely cheaper than the comparable competition.

Never heard of it before and made the decision to buy after a few minutes of trialing. It's that good!

Don't let the bargain price fool you, this is a full-on installer product. It can generate a professional setup program from many sources, including a VB6 .vbp file. There are handles that allow you to create very complex setups over a variety of Windows versions and spoken languages, but you can also have a working installer in a few minutes. I had my (non-working) 32 bit project installed in Windows 7 64 bit an hour after getting Tarma Installer. There is ample, clear documentation and a pre-flight mode that does a good job of analyzing your choices and finding potential omissions or errors.

Absolutely excellent installer; also supports 64 bit and Windows mobile. You'll never need to look at another installer again.

User interface is not as flash as some others, but it is very clearly laid-out. The only reason I haven't given excellent for ease of use is that the number of advanced can be a bit daunting at first. However, I haven't come across another installer that's easier to us. Highly recommended!!
