I've made a 1.22 GB file copy test and the results are:

TeraCopy Pro 2.2 - 1 minute 15 seconds.

Windows XP (classic copy) - 52 seconds.

SuperCopier 2.2 Beta - 47 seconds.

FastCopy 2.08 - 35 seconds.

absolute beauty !!! just plain works.

To make TeraCopy as default copy handler for Windows of 64 bit versions, go to your TeraCopy installation directory and edit with a text editor (Notepad) the file "DefaultHandler.reg".

teracopy2.12 always becomes slower at times

This sure is the fastest and the easiest freeware file copier programme...
In a Normal PC with a 512MB RAM with XP on it it reached the speeds of 22MBps which is the fastest I've seen on that PC
On PCs with Windows XP this lil software accelerates the file transfer speed quite drastically.
With Vista which already has a fast file transfer rate Teracopy still achieves a 1 to 2 MBps lead over Vista.

Good, freeware and very fast file copier. It also gives good options about overwriting existing files. You can also switch between Windows original file copying, by pressing Scroll Lock.

All it lacks is scripting options and a feature to load scripts to automate copying files from one location to another regularly with some sort of regular experessions and it would be the tool of the year.. for me anyways.

It does copy faster then windows copy when your moving many files at the same time, mainly its queuing feature makes the day. You also won't lose data as you migh with a windows copy if you cancel the copy process or something happens to the source during the copy process. It does a CRC check before deleting files when it does a move.
