Why is not possible customize 7-zip buttons?

You don't get what it means to have a 'portable app' then if you say that?!
It isn't just about being able to take the app from one PC to another but also, the ability to use an app WITHOUT it integrating itself into the host system and possibly ruining file associations etc that are already in place for that system!
This is the exact reason I came looking for the portable version. I am not using my own PC right now but I do not want to keep using the crap archiver my parents PC has. they don't want to change the way their system is set up so...I find this program and it does exactly as it promises!
So my conclusion is, against what you claim: this is MUCH MORE portable than the original version of course and comes highly recommended.

If you don't have install privileges on your computer, the portable version of 7-zip is for you. Otherwise, get the regular (non-portable) version, which installs a right-click context menu and is therefore a lot quicker to use. Still, for those of us with strict system administrators, the portable version is an awesome alternative to not having 7-zip at all.

7-Zip is a wonderful app, and I consider it the best Freeware archiver by a wide margin. I don't get the "portable" version, as 7-Zip has always been portable. The original is more portable than this version, because ou can configure the context menu. My advice is to avoid this version which is a couple of revisions behind and get the regular version. All you have to do is drag it to your USB flash drive. When you transfer it to another computer, all you have to do is launch it and select all file types and select shell integration. Too bad the "portable" version doesn't register filetypes and shell extensions on launch.
