It is thin and efficient but also very customizable with skins and icons. If a function is missing, you will find a plugin for it. Nearly any known chat protocol can be integrated. Birthday reminder, smileys, message encryption [...] - YOU decide.

I used the suitcase function before to synchronize my files. While the WindowsXP suitcase looks like as if it is relict of the Win95 era, this MS PowerToy does the job much better. You have more control by chosing from different sync methods and the listing what actions will be performed next is really good to keep control. While the Windows suitcase interface just freezed when performing jobs like scanning or copying, SyncToy shows a nice statusbar. The interface is quite empty, could be easier and better structured, but still I recommend SyncToy.
